Why is Real Time REGOs such an important development?��

They ensure that clean energy is sourced in real-time, aligning consumption with actual renewable generation. Real Time REGOs simplifiy the management of time-based certificates, reducing complexity, automating allocations, and enhancing reporting.��

How does Real Time REGOs work?��

Our Hourly Matched REGOs solution utilises customers' own bundled REGOs within their Sleeved Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), along with Ecotricity’s own PPAs, and unbundled REGOs with Hourly/Half-Hourly metering data to align consumption with generation on an hourly basis. The level of matching is determined based on available generation data, which is reported on monthly. Official REGO numbers are backfilled when available, ensuring compliance no later than July of the REGO Compliance Reporting Year.��

When will Real Time REGOs be available to Ecotricity customers?��

�ʹ�����app’ve been offering the Real Time REGOs products to our business customers from April 2025, with first Hourly product reports and visuals available from May 2025. The first annual product reports will be available from the end of Compliance Period 24, which runs from June 2025 until April 2026.��
