Last month, our brand new TV ad went live, and it’s been amazing to hear feedback from across the country already!

If you’re anything like us, you might be wondering what went on behind the scenes in the production stage. From a chat with Dale about his history with windmills to an over the shoulder view of the drone set up, we’ve got a sneak peek from our recent adventures for you

The video shoot took place over two days and across two of our sites - our wind park in Alveston, Bristol, and our hybrid wind and sun park in Bulkworthy, Devon. »Ê¹ÚÌåÓýapp reached out to some local Ecotricity customers in each area to see if they’d like to get involved, and we were so thrilled when they said yes! Each of them had a story to tell about why they chose (and continue to choose) Ecotricity, which we’re really pleased to share with you.

What our customers had to say

Dennis has been with Ecotricity for 3 years and told us a little about why:

“I chose Ecotricity because I’m interested in their green generation projects and they seem a very forward-thinking company. I’m particularly interested in the green gasmill and how they could be an alternative to heat pumps. I’d definitely recommend Ecotricity to my friends and family.

Having chosen Ecotricity 12 years ago, Jill also let us know why she’s stuck with us:

“As a customer I’m not just an account number, I’m a person and I can speak to someone. I’ve really enjoyed the customer experience. If you want to live with integrity and live a green life, having green electricity from Ecotricity is an easy win. I often introduce people to Ecotricity and tell them all about it!

When we asked Nancy, who’s been a customer for 13 years, what she’d say to someone considering switching to Ecotricity, she said:

“[Ecotricity] are innovative, forward-thinking and committed to meeting our future needs sustainably Go for it, you won’t regret it!

Climate Clock

The Climate Clock is a version of the Doomsday clock that has been running since 1947 - this tracks the risk of global man-made disaster, through man made technology (like nuclear weapons) - displaying the minutes and seconds left before midnight, when disaster strikes. The climate crisis is a small part of the calculations made. The climate clock uses a similar approach, but, focuses only on the climate crisis - which is the biggest and most urgent existential threat we face."The Climate Clock is a countdown to the biggest man-made disaster we face - but also a measure by which we can track our progress - moving from fossil to renewable energy. It shows we have no time to lose - the clock is ticking" Dale Vince, OBE.
