Wilshire Grand, West Orange, New Jersey
Ailynne and Kevin’s Wedding was not only the joining of two lives but the joining of two families and cultures. The wedding décor was inspired by combining elements from both cultures to create a truly personalized event. The Bridal Bouquets were an array of yellow and red flowers including orchids and calla lilies. The Brides bouquet was an extravagant cascade of phalaenopsis orchids accented by white and yellow calla lilies and hocus pocus roses. The color story continued at the reception with a room aglow with red lighting and deep red shimmering overlays, the perfect backdrop for the organic inspired centerpieces consisting of 2 alternating styles. The tables featured tall vases erupting with gold bamboo and James Story Orchids while every other table featured gold Manzita branches also adorned with James Story and Oncidium Orchids accented with hanging votives. Traditional Chinese Fans were used as table numbers highlighted by shimmering gold votives. To add visual interest to the tabletop, black Florentine base plates were used with black napkins and custom designed letterpress menus.
