The wedding of Maryam and Kareem took place at the picturesque Forsgate Country Club in Princeton. This modern NYC couple wanted their wedding to exude the look of a sleek and elegant loft space while still embracing a traditional element for their low-key style. To achieve this look the ballroom was draped completely in white fabric with pops of dark purple fabric. The white fabric was highlighted with various shades of purple uplights and the windows were left bare to take advantage of the view and the outdoor landscape, which was also highlighted with purple lighting. While the flowers were traditional in form, the bases they were set upon were decidedly modern and the color palette bold! Yellow Callas and Purple Hydrangeas made a big statement in the sea of white. Alternating tables were set aglow by a massed out selection of pillar candles and surrounded by a flowers in the various shades set in unique glass vases. To tie the event together custom stationery was designed including menus, table numbers and place cards.
