Princeton, NJ
This fall inspired wedding with a modern twist featured rich hues and vibrant shades of reds, oranges and yellows with chocolate brown and woodsy accents. This September Wedding for 300 guests was set in a rustic building on the campus of Princeton University, which boasted rustic wooden floors, farmhouse chairs a surprisingly intimate setting with tables of six and family style banquet tables. While the countryesque setting was a perfect fit for the season, this modern bride of course required a modern take on her country nuptials. By using a mix of modern, classic and traditional flowers and pairing them with interesting mediums, we were able to create the prefect look! The reception featured an array of tables and centerpieces including round tables in the center of the room and banquet tables in the back of the room. The tabletops consisted of an eclectic arrangement of traditional, abstract and classic table centers accented by fire and mocha pintuck overlays. The traditional arrangement featured a rustic lantern with an orange pillar candle set inside. The lantern was then tucked into a wreath overflowing with flowers and moss. The abstract table center featured a piece of dried nature airbrushed chocolate brown with copper accents. Amongst the branches were Mokara Orchids and hanging votive candles. The classic arrangement consisted of 2 dozen circus roses in a glass bowls accented with orange votives and wooden table number set in a bed of moss. The Banquet tables featured a runner of vibrant circus rose petals and glass old-fashioned mason jars overflowing with flowers and floating candles. To finish off the tabletop, we added a harvest base plate with wooden napkin rings. Another key artistic element of the event was the place card table. It featured an 8-foot bed of moss and flowers with an Asian inspired cage at the center alight with pillar candles. Due to the massive space and the 42 tables set in different areas of the room, we created a mini map of the room with each guest table highlighted. Branches, Rose Petals and lots of Candlelight made this event truly Fall Fabulous!
